First a little digital version of how the album could look like when done..

The left image is the finished album.. The right images are how it’s supposed to look when opened.

I started out with the cute QP that was in the pack, but when using the template you can customize it just the way you want. :D I’d of course be embelishing this a bit more if I was doing a real hybrid. The papers used in the QP and sample are from the She Dreams kit by Ellie Lash, so if you’d like some matching embies you should check it out. :)

How to

Most important thing to remember when making the album is that the photo in the bottom frame has to be upside down!

I hope you’ll enjoy this little project. The folding lines might need to be adjusted a bit depending on the paper you use. You should be able to tune it in just fine. :)

I used double adhesive tape when I made the first attempt with this and it turned out fine. Just remember not to fully glue the pockets. The tags still needs to be able to slip in and out.

Oh and one last thing.. If you look really carefully at the template you’ll see that I added some cutting lines in some of the vertical folding lines.. Those are for ribbon.. If you want a little hold of the album put ribbon through there and let it run between the layers. Then when you close the album you can tie a cute little bow on the front cover. :)

I’m soooo sneaky that I haven’t even made a preview.. Yeah I admit it, that’s not really what you expected, but I promise you it will be worth the download!

The thing is this.. It’s a hybrid.. And I took some really cute photos of it but they’re just totally gone.. And since it’s just around 3am here I figured I’d better go to bed instead of fiddling with it all night.. So if you don’t mind I’ll post a preview and a how-to some time tomorrow.. Promise ok!! Pinky swear!
